Binder-free activated carbon papers for high-performance electric double-layer capacitors

摘要: A binder-free activated carbon paper (ACP) was simply prepared for electric double-layer capacitors by the carbonization of filter paper, followed heat-air activation at a lower temperature. The electrochemical cells assembled using as-prepared ACP-470 provides high specific capacitance 296.4 F g−1 current density 0.5 A g−1 and rate performance 150 A g−1 with 191.2 F g−1 cycle ability 10,000 recycles 100 % retention. In addition, ACP has electrical resistivity an effective energy storage maximum 41.2 Wh kg−1 power 138.0 kW kg−1 in voltage range 1 V.
