Low–Threshold and High Intensity Random Lasing Enhanced by MnCl2

摘要: Energy transfer is known to have a significant influence on random lasers. However, the study about effect of energy between metallic salt and dye molecules lasers still lacking at present. Here, we investigate lasing actions in Pyrromethene-597 (PM597), PM597-doped MnCl2 (manganese (II) chloride), polymer-dispersed liquid crystal (PDLC) PDLC with capillary systems. We find that systems exhibits lower threshold, higher intensity, sharper peak variable resonance wavelength comparison without MnCl2. This behavior closely related decrease fluorescence quenching enhancement local field induced by PM597. Red-shift observed increasing dosage concentration system. Through analysis single-shot emission spectra systems, role coupling modes confirmed. Lengths laser oscillation cavities are calculated power Fourier transform (PFT) their spectra. It well accounts for variation cavity.
