摘要: Objective: This study assessed the proportion of adults with previously diagnosed diabetes mellitus (DM) who met selected preventive practices and treatment goals according to American Diabetes Association (ADA) standards medical care. Methods: A secondary analysis data collected for a previous epidemiologic that used probability cluster design select 859 persons aged 21-79 years in San Juan metropolitan area was undertaken. focused on 136 (15.8%) self-reported DM. The Standards Medical Care published by ADA 2011 were determine achieving clinical practice recommendations.
