摘要: The intracranial electroencephalogram (iEEG) is essential in decision making for epilepsy surgery. Although localization of epileptogenic brain regions by means iEEG has been the gold standard surgical decision-making more than 70 years, established guidelines what constitutes genuine epileptic activity and normal are not available. This review provides a summary current state knowledge understanding on entities variants, effects sleep regional lobar iEEG, patterns interictal ictal their relation to well-described pathologies outcome.
