摘要: Objective: The death or illness of a spouse negatively affects partner’s health, but little is known about the effect on blood glucose (glycemic) levels. This study investigates extent to which spouse’s declining health associated with changes in glycemic levels older adults. Method: Data come from nationally representative longitudinal sample 597 Taiwanese (aged 54 90). We use spousal and predict glycosylated hemoglobin (HbA1c) over 6-year period.
