摘要: Male and female Syrian golden hamsters were exposed to the smoke of [14C]dotriacontane-16,17 ([14C]DOT)-labelled cigarettes in 2 different exposure systems. These systems differed terms concentration drawn into chamber. To compare effectiveness systems, inhaled dose 14C-labelled cigarette was determined parts hamster respiratory tract by liquid scintillation counting. About 6 times more particles deposited after high with intermittent puffs fresh air (closed system) than diluted (open system). 80% reached bronchi lung compared approximately 60% concentrated smoke. The remainder trapped upper tract, mainly nose larynx. Additionally, open system total dependent upon position results are discussed respect use for chronic inhalation studies experimental carcinogenesis.
