摘要: Methods and apparatus for administering known quantities of medicaments by iontophoresis, while avoiding burns caused extremes in the pH medicament medium during passage an electric current, are disclosed. It is that as iontophoresis progresses conventional systems, electrolysis water occurs to produce hydrogen or hydroxyl ions at interface electrode medium. Since these highly mobile, they transported directly into skin a patient preference larger ions. Thus, extreme changes experienced which result due acidificaion alkalinization current through skin. In addition, efficiency decreases over time. The present invention avoids removing created creates conditions constant delivery prolonged periods invention, attached ion exchange matrix, such resin. When leaves vacated active site filled produced products, thereby allowing progress relatively pH.
