Treatment of Acute Appendicitis in the Patients With Severe Neutropenia

摘要: When appendicitis occurs in neutropenic adult patients, clinicians must balance the timing and risks of surgery. Urgent surgery may lead to high operative complications mortality. This case report details treatment appendicitis patients with hematologic disease. Patient 1 was a 31 years old female severe aplastic anemia patient 2 34 male AML M6. Both patients' abdominal CT scan suggestive appendicitis. We prepared supportive care first, delayed successfully completed without acute or late complications. suggest that, patients state, elective operation is superior to urgent operation, except life-threatening complications such as peritonitis.
