摘要: Delivery of energy by a defibrillator or other medical device is inhibited when the processor software that controls module operates abnormally. A windowed watchdog timer (WWDT) incorporated into one used to control operation modules via software-based extension technique. As result, risk harm patient reduced compared devices incorporate over-limit type timers. In addition, costs associated with implementing WWDTs in multiple are avoided, thereby lowering overall cost implementation.
