摘要: Color slide images of weeds among various soils and residues were digitized analyzed for red, green, blue (RGB) color content. Red, chromatic coordinates (rgb) plants very different from those background residue. To distinguish living plant material a nonplant background, several indices studied, tested, successful in identifying weeds. The included r-g, g-b, (g-b)/ |r-g|, 2g-r-b. A modified hue was also used to non-plant surfaces. hue, 2g-r-b index, the green coordinate distinguished (0.05 level significance) better than other indices. However, most computationally intense. These worked well both nonshaded shaded sunlit conditions. could be sensor design detecting spot spraying control.
