Stabilization of solid waste in landfills

摘要: A method for the analysis of refuse stability has been developed and tested by analyzing obtained directly from test lysimeters actual landfills across United States. Refuse samples are analyzed to develop procedures concepts involved. Results landfill situations compared those known age in order determine degree each relation depth location. Each was as how environmental conditions such pH, moisture content, remaining organic content affected location depth. Also, results different geographical locations, climatic situations, configurations compared. Because ultimate use a sanitary site is prime concern, rate stabilization important know standpoints future leachate production, methane gas generation, differential settlement.
