Global analysis of protein succinylation modification of Nostoc flagelliforme in response to dehydration.

摘要: Abstract Nostoc flagelliforme is a type of terrestrial cyanobacteria that distributed in arid or semi-arid steppes China. To research the molecular mechanisms underlying adaptation N. to drought stress, succinylated expression profile and changes resulted as response dehydration were analyzed by label-free proteomics. A total 1149 sites, 1128 peptides, 396 proteins identified. Succinylated differentially involved photosynthesis energy metabolism, well reactive oxygen species (ROS) scavenging. Motif-X analysis sites determined succinylation motif [KxxG]. adapts increasing glucose metabolism pentose phosphate pathway flux, decreasing photosynthetic rate, which some key succinylated. ROS scavenging was mainly regulation enzyme antioxidant defense system non-enzymatic through modification, thus eliminating excessive ROS. Protein may play an important regulatory role dehydration. The results are foundational, they can inform future into mechanism Significance global network has been established. We found many photosynthesis, antioxidation. survey levels provided effective information for tolerance flagelliforme.
