摘要: Abstract Carbon-fibre-reinforced carbon in a bidirectional, satin weave layup and protected against oxidation by liquid silicon infiltration, with CVD SiC SiO 2 protecting sealing layers on the surface, was investigated under combined influence of load bending, temperature (800–1250°C) (flowing air). From limited number experiments following could be concluded: material showed non-linear stress/strain behaviour comparison to unprotected composite; lower temperature, less effective protection; for static loads at 1200°C lifetime drops drastically beyond certain threshold stress tensile stresses are more dangerous than compressive strain. The most method testing system proved thermocycling constant load.
