摘要: Abstract We compared five species of the murine genus Maxomys and representatives nine other murid genera in a complete 15×15 DNA-hybridization matrix. FITCH trees were calculated for entire suite taxa subsets including only these together with four nearest outgroups. All validated by «bootstrapping» jackknifing, performing both single- multiple-deletions taxa. The full data set indicated sister-group relationship between two pairs ( Sundamys-Rattus sensu stricto Niviventer-Leopoldamys ) that are more closely related to each than ; addition on Bandicota Berylmys from another recent study confirmed successive sister-taxa pair. Mus-Myomys Uromys-Melomys distinct lineages above grouping Rattus lato species, putative outgroup sigmodontine Peromyscus , but interrelations three clades unresolved. Within Maxomys, M. surifer bartelsii pair, ochraceiventer probably forms an unresolved trio rajah whiteheadi . Calibration tree generated saturation-corrected distances against likely divergence-date 12.2 Mybp separation Mus confirms high rate single-copy DNA change murids (2.1%/Myr); suggests Sigmodontinae Murinae diverged at around 15.3 Mybp, group six separated approximately 7.6 Myr ago, began diversify 4.8 ago.
