摘要: The effect of fuel constituents on the combustion and particle emission char- acteristics a compression ignition engine fuelled with diesel-dimethoxymethane (DMM) blends is investigated experimentally. Four loads at maximum torque speed 1600r/min rated 2200r/min were carried out respectively. Three diesel-DMM blended fuels containing 15 vol %, 30 50 % DMM, corresponding to 6.35 mass 12.67 21.11 oxygen in used. study showed that delay experienced slight increase while rapid duration total decreased DMM fraction blends. cylinder pressure, rate pressure rise, heat release addition fuels. More- over, smoke concentration decreases reduction reaches 80 per cent for blend under high load. influence nanoparticulate distribution was also studied tests it found number nanosized particulates are all reduced in- crease content
