Tannins and Antioxidant Activities of the Walnut (Juglans regia) Pellicle.

摘要: The total phenolic content and antioxidant activities of the acetone extract derived fractions from walnut (Juglans regia) pellicle were estimated. BuOH fraction exhibited strongest activity with highest content. A phytochemical investigation this led to isolation three tannins, 2,3-hexahydroxydiphenoylglucose (1), pedunculagin (2) 2,3,4,6-tetragalloylglucose (3). Pedunculagin showed high powerful activity, which implied that compound plays an important role in pellicle.
