摘要: Abstract From the very first day of introduction deep eutectic solvents (DESs) as an alternative to ionic liquids (ILs), it has been claimed that both enjoy similar physiochemical properties. The claim was found not be correct when dissolution phenomenon DNA in ILs and DESs consisting a few selected cations anions investigated. Upon investigation eight different sets (ILs DESs) with constituents, observed were able provide better medium for stability whereas neither help nor structural chemical solute. study physicochemical properties such viscosity, conductivity, polarity, hydrogen bond donation/acceptance ability, density helped understand how solution affect dissolution. Interestingly, studies on conductivities suggested higher conductivity Further, species electrostatic interaction charges phosphate present along bonding. other studied also supported favourable IL ions comparison DESs. molecular docking indicated ability promote nucleic acids this appears major driving force solubilize solvents. [Pyruvate]−, [Glycolate]−, [Acetate]− [Formate]− which are constituent display more interactions corresponding Pyruvic acid, Glycolic Acetic Formic acid It concluded form bonds responsible solubilization macromolecule solvent systems.
