摘要: ABSTRACT: Modifications in apoptosis, a programmed form of cell death that participates wide variety physiological processes, can contribute to many diseases, principally those associated with accumulation, such as inflammation. One hallmark inflammation is the infiltration leukocytes, which are undergo apoptosis at inflamed tissues. Resolution thus involves elimination excess inflammatory cells by and subsequent removal apoptotic phagocytes. Controlling this process may therefore be useful treatment pathologies, include an component. Interestingly, while some cases mechanism actually produces resolution inflammation, other pathologies it cause rather than its solution. This case eczematous dermatitis. Depending on type disease, then, possible either augmenting or blocking process. Different anti-inflammatory agents, e.g. teophylline glucocorticoid family compounds, have already been shown modify apoptosis. In chapter, we review new agents isolated from plants proapoptotic antiapoptotic properties, special emphasis alkaloids phenolics most relevant phytochemical groups date.
