摘要: A cylindrical interferometric hydrophone having an axial hollow free-flooded volume includes outer fiber wrap for a sensor leg and inner reference leg. Both wraps are wound on elastomers exposed to seawater sensing acoustic signals. In operation increased pressure shortens the lengthens wrap. This use of both legs detect signals gives sensitivity.
