摘要: • A retrospective review of records and microscopic slides was carried out on 151 patients, encompassing nine specific upper aerodigestive tract cancer sites, correlating depth invasion with node metastases outcome. In this preliminary descriptive study, thickness found to be more closely related metastasis survival than surface diameter in middle-stage tumors, particularly tongue, floor the mouth, buccal mucosa, gum, soft palate sites. Thickness, penetration, bone involvement appear represent degree general tumor aggressiveness better does extent. substitution measurement for (T) present TNM staging system is suggested.
