摘要: This work demonstrates an optofluidic system, where dielectrophoretically controlled suspended nanoparticles are used to manipulate the properties of optical waveguide. device is composed a multimode polymeric rib waveguide and microfluidic channel as its upper cladding. integrates dielectrophoretic (DEP) microelectrodes infiltrated with silica tungsten trioxide nanoparticles. By applying electrical signals various intensities frequencies DEP microelectrodes, can be concentrated close surface significantly altering in this region. Depending on particle refractive indices, concentrations, positions dimensions, light remains confined or scattered into surrounding media channel.
