摘要: Introduction and Aims. Few studies of the implementation alcohol brief interventions (ABI) have been conducted in community settings such as mental health, social work criminal justice teams.This qualitative interview study sought to explore impact training on ABI delivery by staff from a variety teams. Design Methods. Fifteen semi-structured telephone interviews were carried out with trained practitioners managers use of, perceived need for approaches recording clients,and compatibility ABIs current practice. Interviews analysed thematically using an inductive approach. Results. Very few reported any following primarily because they felt be inappropriate their clients.According practitioners,this was either drank too much or little benefit.Practitioners range activities relating alcohol, some that knowledge confidence improved training.One practitioner considered success, while expectations did not fit practice including assessment procedures remainder. Discussion Conclusions.Identified barriers included issues individual practitioners, teams, model.They are likely best addressed strategic team- setting-specific implementation, which is only one part.
