摘要: This work regards fingertip contact detection and localization upon planar surfaces, for the purpose of providing interactivity in augmented, interactive displays that are implemented these surfaces. The proposed approach differs from widely employed where user hands observed above, imaged laterally. An algorithmic treatment corresponding visual input is proposed. extensively evaluated compared to top view approach. Advantages include increased sensitivity, accuracy, scalability, as well as, practicality cost efficiency installation.
