摘要: SUMMARY Caecal microbial activity and blood metabolic profiles were assessed according to the health status (diarrhoeic vs. healthy) in growing rabbits after induction of a nutritional enteropathy. Rabbits fed ad libitum from weaning (28 days) 70 days age with standard fibre content diet (n = 150) or deficient 209) known induce non specific The reduction intake caused significantly delayed weight growth markedly increased risk index (mortality + morbidity). In diarrhoeic rabbits, dry matter total volatile fatty acid (tVFAs) concentrations caecum dramatically decreased by 27 40%, respectively whereas caecal ammonia concentration, minor VFA proportions pH 2 8.5 times 0.7 unit, respectively. parallel, C3:C4 ratio fourfold pectinase was depressed. Blood plasma glucose, potassium albumin diseased animals compared healthy ones while urea cholesterol showed two-fold increase suggesting preferential metabolical utilisation lipids proteins. These results show that function greatly affected during nutritionally induced enteropathy observed changes globally similar those coccidiosis colibacillosis.
