摘要: This study investigated the phase transformations and magnetic properties of Ni-Mn-Ga alloy powders prepared by dry ball milling in argon atmosphere. The Fe Cr elements were found to be introduced after milling, which should result from severe collision friction among particles, balls, vial. x-ray diffraction indicated that have alloyed with matrix. martensitic transformation temperature Curie 800 °C annealed decreased ~33 increased ~28 °C, respectively, as compared bulk alloy. comprehensive effect changing valence electron concentration due introduction grain refinement caused responsible for reduction temperature. saturation magnetization became larger (~5 emu/g) than enhancement properties, such increase powders, attributed exchange contaminations emerging process changed Therefore, is difficult control contamination medium not suitable prepare powders. On contrary, wet method under liquid a better prevent fabricate pure ferromagnetic shape memory
