Experimental study on concrete filled square hollow sections

摘要: A series of tests was performed to consider the behaviour short composite columns under axial compressive loading, covering a range S275 and S355 grade steel square hollow section filled with normal high strength concrete. The interaction between concrete component is considered results show that shrinkage has an effect on column. Comparisons Eurocode 4, ACI-318 Australian Standards findings this research were made. Result showed equation used by proposed gave better predication for capacity SHS than 4.
