摘要: We present estimates of the seasonal and spatial occupation by pinnipeds Wildlife Refuge Ilha dos Lobos (WRIL), based on aerial photographic censuses. Twenty censuses were analysed between July 2010 November 2018. To assess monthly differences in numbers WRIL we used a Generalized Linear Mixed Model. Spatial analysis was carried out using Kernel density grid plotted along WRIL. Subadult male South American sea lions (Otaria flavescens) most abundant pinniped Potential females this species also recorded during half census. The maximum number observed 304 September 2018, including an unexpected individual southern elephant seal (Mirounga leonina), high fur yearlings (Arctocephalus australis). However, there no statistically significant difference counts months. In all months analysed, often found concentrated northern portion island, with highest abundances reported September. This study confirms importance as haulout site for Brazil, recommends that land research recreational activities occur when are present, encourages regulated marine mammal-based tourism winter spring
