Analogical Based Approach to Forward and Inverse Problems for Asphalt Materials Characterization at Low Temperatures

摘要: Due to its environmental and economic benefits, the use of increased proportions Reclaimed Asphalt Pavement (RAP) in construction asphalt pavements has become a top priority. However, blending process that happens during mixing between new virgin binder RAP aged is not well comprehended, question if total occurs been answered. A number models were developed used predict composite mixture properties from components. This type approach generally known as forward problem. Recently, researchers started investigate possibility predicting (inverse problem). In this paper inverse problem obtaining at low temperature investigated using experimental creep stiffness data obtained with Bending Beam Rheometer (BBR). First, literature review available performed. Then, semi-empirical model transformation derived analogical models, respectively. The same are then applied obtain properties. Results indicate based on can be successfully utilized for both problems.
