摘要: Dredging is frequently used in the river mouths of eutrophic lakes to reduce internal phosphorus (P) loading from sediment. However, accumulation P-adsorbed suspended particulate matter (SPM) inflowing rivers negatively affects post-dredging sediment-water interface and ultimately increases P loading. Here, a 360-d experiment was carried out investigate influence riverine SPM on efficacy dredging reducing added dredged undredged sediments collected confluence area Lake Chaohu. Several parameters related loading, including oxygen profile, soluble reactive P, ferrous iron across interface, organic matter, alkaline phosphatase activity, fractions, were measured throughout experimental period. The results showed that content (especially mobile P) sediment increased pre-dredging level with In addition, flux SPM. characteristics SPM, high content, activity phosphatase, biological considered correlated increase Overall, this study heavily contaminated regulates long-term as nutrient management option area. Management needed avoid or phenomenon during projects nature.
