摘要: Abstract Objectives : The quadratic phase-coupling (QPC) within burst patterns during electroencephalic suppression has been quantified. Methods It can be shown that a QPC exists between the frequency ranges 0–2.5 and 3–7.5 Hz 8–12 Hz. By means of time-variant bicoherence analysis, strong phase-locking modulating modulated component identified. is demonstrable first 250 ms after onset comes up to maximum 750 1250 ms. Results effect maintained over whole part (2 s) with decreasing tendency All these effects cannot found in EEG before entering period (BSP). transient coupling phenomena bursts BSP regarded as indicators for short-term interrelations underlying electrophysiologic processes. Conclusions suggested method introduced quantification sedation depth should used.
