Microwave-assisted preparation of a vancomycin modified open tubular capillary electrochromatography column for chiral separation

摘要: A vancomycin chiral stationary phase modified open tubular capillary electrochromatography (OT-CEC) column has been prepared using a microwave irradiation method. Compared with the use of conventional heating, microwave-assisted process improved efficiency synthesis, led to significant increase in rate reaction, and reduced preparation time from 12 h 55 min. Four aromatic racemates were selected as model compounds evaluate performance OT-CEC column. Using optimized conditions, all four these racemic successfully separated baseline resolution (RS) more than 1.75. These results demonstrated that possessed excellent recognition properties towards racemates, well showed good levels stability repeatability. This is therefore suitable for separations by CEC.
