摘要: Objective: Malignant cells show increased glucose uptake in vitro and vivo studies. This is mediated by transporter proteins. GLUT-1 the most common protein, its expression reported to be increase many human cancers. The aim of this study determine overexpression benign, hyperplastic, malignant endometrial tissues, evaluate usefulness hyperplasia, role neoplastic progression endometrioid type adenocarcinoma. We also aimed analyze prognostic clinical parameters, predict prognosis, survival. Material Method: examined immunohistochemical 91 cases 100 adenocarcinoma, 10 proliferative tissues. percentage positive staining intensity were assessed a semi quantitative fashion scored (1+ 3+). Results: immunoreactivity was not present endometrium. Twenty-nine (31.9%) hyperplasia showed immunoreactivity, which only six without atypia while 23 them with atypia. found positivity 95% significantly correlated any clinicopathological parameters except histological grade adenocarcinoma; survival expression. Conclusion: immunostaining may useful distinguishing from atypia; consistent feature A correlation between GLUT -1 tumor has been found, although other no meaningful correlation.
