摘要: Abstract In this experimental study, the effect of alcohol (ethanol and methanol) use on performance, emissions combustion characteristics of a low power single-cylinder engine described rated output e.g. 2 kW were investigated results compared with conventional gasoline operation. The tests performed at full-throttle valve opening variable speeds. show that fuels increased torque, brake specific fuel consumption (BSFC), thermal efficiency efficiency. addition, cylinder gas pressure heat release rate occurred earlier; carbon dioxide (CO2) emission while hydrocarbon (HC), monoxide (CO) nitrogen oxides (NOx) decreased.
