摘要: Software aging is caused by resource exhaustion and can lead to progressive performance degradation or result in a crash. We develop experiments that simulate an on-line bookstore application, using the standard configuration of TPC-W benchmark. study application failures due memory leaks, accelerated life testing (ALT). ALT significantly reduces time needed estimate failure at normal level. then select Weibull distribution level, be used semi-Markov model so as optimize software rejuvenation trigger interval. Then we derive optimal schedule interval fixed point iteration alternative non-parametric estimation algorithm. Finally, simulation importance sampling (IS) cross validate experimental results model, also apply method optimized intervals comparing availabilities obtained from those IS method.
