摘要: Abstract Supported copper produced by hydrogen reduction of nitrate impregnated silica may retain sufficient nitrogen to inhibit CO adsorption at room temperature. XPS results indicate that the is present in a nitride-like form. The deactivating effect preadsorbed N atoms on chemisorption has been studied volumetric and surface potential measurements polycrystalline films. An coverage 0.1 hardly affects capacity or sp behaviour 77 K, but heat substantially reduced whole surface. With increasing low temperature progressively changes give much larger positive sp. This consistent with single crystal studies it attributed interaction d-band.
