摘要: The transient plane source (TPS) technique has been revised with the aim of developing a simple and fast system to measure thermal transport properties materials at low temperatures, especially high-Tc superconductors. To ensure reliable results, any new should be tested known samples. Fused silica, 0.9% carbon steel (215/3), halide crystals (silver chloride) were studied setup check its performance. Data taken from room temperature down liquid nitrogen temperature. assembly was designed for cryogenic (79 300 K) measurements in an atmosphere free humidity. Dry gas used as heat transfer medium around sample holder assembly. measured values conductivity diffusivity these samples are excellent agreement reported earlier. silver chloride extended 80 K although recommended data available only 220 K. A Ba-doped, Bi-based, superconductor prepared by solid-state reaction method. nominal composition Bi1.6Pb0.4Sr1.6Ba0.4Ca2Cu3Oy. Large-sized (diameter ∼28mm length ∼11mm) investigated properties.
