摘要: BACKGROUND With the aggravation of greenhouse effect, much attention is given to capture CO2 before its emission into atmosphere. So far, various solid adsorbents have been developed and used. Among them, materials modified with organic-amines are promising on account good adsorption desorption performance. In present work, triethylenetetramine (TETA) Fe-Zr were synthesized characterized. The performance for was tested in a stream 5% CO2. RESULTS The support first synthesized, TETA successfully grafted onto surface. show thermal stability ability. Increase amount increased gas flow rate positive influence whereas increase temperature has negative effect capacity. At 200 mg loading 20 cm3 g−1, adsorbent achieves maximum capacity 4.1 mmol g−1 at 75 °C. addition, exhibits excellent reusability cyclic performance. CONCLUSION Remarkable recyclability suggest that TETA-functionalized high potential industry. © 2015 Society Chemical Industry
