摘要: Just as the power of open-source design paradigm has driven down cost software to point that it is accessible most people, rise hardware poised drive doing experimental science expand access everyone. This chapter provides a selection concrete examples exceptionally low-cost scientific tools for physics, engineering, biology, environmental and chemistry. Using combination CAD, 3-D printing, microcontrollers (OpenSCAD, RepRap printing Arduino automation), following research have been designed, built are described in this chapter: (1) multicomponent optics library, (2) polymer laser welding system, (3) radiation detector, (4) oscilloscope, (5) colorimeter, (6) pH meter, (7) PCR machine, (8) centrifuge, (9) spectrometer, many other small useful tools.
