摘要: Molecular polymorphisms in a selected set of Spirulina and related genera using random primers based on repetitive sequences along with biochemical parameters, led to the unambiguous differentiation strains understanding their phylogenetic relationships. A combination 10 sets dual generated 100% distinct polymorphic bands ranging from 150 5,000 bp. Total number fragments ranged 68 159 whereas 13 32 for different Random Amplified Polymorphic DNA (RAPD) reactions. platensis strains, Sp-2 Sp-3, possessed quite comparable chlorophyll protein content besides having maximum similarity coefficient (0.88) between them basis RAPD reactions, thus proved be closely related. Sp-8 (Spirulina Loktak Lake) highest protein: ratio, showed close mutant (Sp-7) analysis. Duncan’s Multiple Range Test (DMRT) ranking parameters were closer Arthrospira. This is also supported by cluster analysis data, as Arthrospira are placed together same subcluster dendrogram. The comparative closeness among Lyngbya, Oscillatoria Phormidium reflected low which dendrogram upon RAPD; thus, exhibiting usefulness multiplex genera.
