摘要: In this study, we report the synthesis, characterization, and chiroptical properties of azo-group-containing chiral salen type Schiff base Ni(II), Cu(II), Zn(II) complexes absorbed on gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) 10 nm diameters. Induced circular dichroism (CD) around plasmon region from species weakly adsorbed surface AuNP were observed when there appropriate dipole–dipole interactions at initial states. Spectral changes also by not only cis-trans photoisomerization azo-groups but orientation due to Weigert effect azo-dyes after linearly polarized UV light irradiation. Spatial features discussed based dipole-dipole mainly within an exciton framework.
