摘要: The authors present findings from a 2009 survey of postsecondary education (PSE) programs for students with an intellectual disability (ID) conducted in the United States. was designed to collect descriptive information on characteristics and practices existing PSE ID. consisted 63 items organized into 10 sections including: institution or program characteristics, dual enrollment referral application process, college course access supports, employment, residential options campus access, family support, student outcomes, challenges, contact information. Some 149 institutions higher 39 states indicated that they served included basic recruitment admission, activities, accommodations, funding, collaboration, services. results show ID, experience differs number important ways experiences their peers without high degree variability among responding suggests ID differ one another as well. note can be used describe current practice well serve baseline will reference field evolves.
