摘要: The subject of chemical carcinogenesis is an exciting one for at least three reasons. One, it deals with a disease major magnitude. Cancer the second leading cause death in United States and Western World. Two, probes some most fundamental questions contemporary biology, i.e. related to DNA structure, chromatin control gene expression, membrane structure function, very basic problem growth specificity stability cellular differentiation. Three brings together investigators from such diverse disciplines as epidemiology, toxicology, cell biology molecular genetics.
