摘要: Seasonal patterns of nutrient concentration and standing stock were documented in aboveground plant biomass wet meadow tundra vegetation at Barrow, Alaska. Mobile elements, such as nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, present higher concentrations than comparable temperate species. These elements reached peak within 10 days snowmelt decreased to about half their maximum the course growing season. The total these increased more rapidly did itself. Nearly potassium complement material was retranslocated belowground before end That portion nutrients remaining dead season leached rates reflecting respective solubilities tissue. Calcium magnesium content Dicots had phosphorus cations monocots. This is discussed with respect differences mycorrhizal association distribution. implications for herbivores seasonal species are discussed. Fertilization
