摘要: Interindividual differences in drug transporter expression can result variability response. This variation gene is determined, part, by the actions of nuclear hormone receptors that act as xenobiotic- and endobiotic-sensing transcription factors. Among ligand-activated receptors, signaling through Pregnane X Receptor (PXR), Constitutive Androstane (CAR), Farnesoid (FXR), Vitamin D (VDR) constitute major pathways regulating tissues. Hence, these endobiotic- xenobiotic-sensing are intrinsically involved environmental influences Moreover, because receptor genes polymorphic, factors also thought to contribute heritability variable action. In this chapter, molecular aspects regulation will be reviewed including their clinical relevance.
