摘要: We have attempted to review the current state of our knowledge concerning human basophilic leucocyte, drawing on experimental data derived from animals when necessary. Long neglected, a great deal has been learned about these cells in recent years, their morphology, biochemical constitutents and ability synthesize certain constitutents, interactions with homocytotropic antibodies, release mediators anaphylaxis, response chemotatic stimuli, participation progressive degranulation cell-mediated hypersensitivity reactions, capacity for ingesting releasing exogenous tracers. Despite this vast accumulation new information, much more must be before we can confidently describe role basophils, or closely related mast cells, health disease. It seems most unlikely that either cell exists purpose destroying organism anaphylactic shock. Nonetheless, it is highly probably basophil/mast function potent chemicals stored within cytoplasmic granules. One likely possibility holds small amounts are required homeostasis (e.g., regulation tone microvasculature) by such substances continuously, as they needed, aliquots rather than explosive discharge. This hypothesis requires basophils capable contents piecemeal fashion. Such gradual apparently occurs delayed-type but mechanisms responsible form not yet identified. also physiological, pharmacological, roles found histamine, heparin possibly other components basophils/mast Progress direction extremely slow.
