摘要: This article examines fertility patterns in developing countries, and their relationship to population health. The author three regions of the world using theoretical framework demographic transition, comparing experiences China, India, sub-Saharan Africa. then issues related unique patterns, such as China India's high sex ratios, impact HIV/AIDS on African age distribution. concludes with a discussion challenges these including impending problems China's marriage market, trends work, breastfeeding, social unrest, suicide.
