A Photoresponsive Hybrid Nanomaterial Based on Graphene and Polyhedral Oligomeric Silsesquioxanes

摘要: A novel nanomaterial that consists of graphene sheets decorated with silsesquioxane molecules has been developed. Aminopropyl-silsesquioxane (POSS-NH2) employed to functionalize oxide (GO) sheets. The surface grafting the GO POSS-NH2 was established by IR spectroscopy and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, morphology investigated field-emission electron microscopy as well atomic force microscopy. combination amino-functionalized POSS produces a hybrid silicon/graphite-based nanomaterial, named GRAPOSS. When exposed visible light showed photoconductivity response.
