摘要: Abstract An interwoven core–shell structured Ni/NiO anode for lithium ion batteries was created by a simple oxidation of Ni foam. As-prepared configuration has high specific discharge capacity 701 mAh g − 1 at the 2nd cycle. Its electrochemical performance subsequent cycles shows good energy 646 mAh g 65th cycle as well rate capability. The porous structure not only buffers volume change during cycling but also effectively increases contact among anode, current collector and electrolyte. small resistance between NiO facilitates enhanced intrinsic kinetics from conversion reaction.
