摘要: The effect of suspended sediment in modulating the vertical velocity structure Amazon River estuary is examined. Based on simple analyses and previously made measurements Brazilian shelf at mouth estuary, viscous damping turbulence shown to be a significant feature bottom hyperpycnal suspension layer 2 m notional height. This nested within lower flow boundary order 4 thickness. For modeling discharge this it will essential account for strong interaction between dynamics that occurs layered water column.
