Effective synthesis of cis-3-hexen-1-yl acetate via transesterification over KOH/γ-Al2O3: Structure and catalytic performance

摘要: Abstract Cis-3-hexen-1-yl acetate is a significant green note flavor compound and widely used in the food cosmetic industry. In this research, series of solid base KOH/γ-Al 2 O 3 have been prepared utilized for synthesis cis-3-hexen-1-yl via transesterification from ethyl acetate. The catalysts were also characterized by several physic-chemical techniques such as X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy, N adsorption, CO -temperature-programmed desorption (CO -TPD), fluorescence (XRF). 30%KOH/Al was suggested to be best conversion due cis-3-hexen-1-ol 59.3% at temperature 88 °C within 2 h. Characterization results showed that KOH transformed into Al–O–K K O·CO species during calcination process. It confirmed disappeared groups existed on surface water-washing which inactive transesterification. might major active KOH/Al , cis-3-hexen-yl synthesis.
